DECISIONS DECIDE DESTINY


Decisions are very powerful in the sense that the quality of ours lives can mostly be traced to the kinds of decisions we often make. Decisions are actually vehicles that carry us from a particular level in life to a different destination (consequence). Your current level in life is a report card of the compound effect of all decisions you made in life so far. Midwifing your current level and the glorious destiny you always think of is the quality of decisions you make momentarily. God has prepared each of us for greatness but only few people will lay hold on that which was written about them through the making of quality decisions.

Your destiny coming true has a lot to do with your daily decisions and choices. According to Newton’s first law of motion, a body will continue to be at rest or in a uniform motion unless there is an external force acting on it. Similarly, any situation will remain unchanged unless a decision is made to act upon it.  

The law of cause and effect also adds up to it. It states that to every effect, there is a cause or series of causes. Every situation is the effect of a cause or series of causes. So nothing will change in your life just by hoping or wishing, you will have to apply a cause that will bring about the effect you desire through your choices and decisions. Things will change one day is just a fallacy. Time in itself does not change anything really. Time is a revealer. It reveals in the future the resultant effect of all your choices and decisions in the time past. Waiting for things to get better as time goes by is a waste of destiny. You would have to create the future you desire by making destiny defining decisions.

Even as powerful as God is and Satan appears to be, both of them are at the mercy of a person's decisions to interfere in his affairs. God gave man an independent will to make his own choices and decisions and God will always respect it even when the consequences will be unbearable for the individual. God knows the implications of choosing both life and death but He never imposes anything on man. What God does is to guide the individual to make good decisions through the willingness of the person. Man is free to make his choice; whether to choose life, death, blessing or cursing. And the resultant effect of whatever he chooses will be measured back to him. 

On the other hand, what the devil actually does when he wants to destroy a destiny is that, he manipulates the individual's mindset to make choices and decisions that will bring about the desired consequences the devil wants for him. There's no way the devil can destroy a life without the person cooperating or partnering with the devil through the person's own bad decisions and choices. Our decisions and choices are actually gateways that allow both God and the devil to interfere in our affairs.

THE LAW OF ASSOCIATION.

One of the easiest way to rise or plateau in destiny is through associations. And one of the things that define us is the kind of people we have within our circle of influence. You've probably heard the saying that "you're the average of the five people you spend the most time with". Your circle of influence defines how your life is and going to be.
